Today, we are continuing our topic of building an affiliate site. Remember, an affiliate site is super super important and in this video we're going to get into some of the details I'm going to show you how to write the perfect Article 4 in affiliate site. And so this is going to be important for everyone of you who is interested in promoting affiliate offers. Regardless how you're going to promote him. So if you want to promote him, ClickBank, Max Bounty. Amazon doesn't really matter. I'm going to show you how to create the perfect piece of content for your affiliate site. So here we have this master diagram. Here we have the visitor, they go to the traffic source. We have the basic pay traffic. Here we have a website to click on the link, sign up. We have different CPA affiliate offers, things like that and hopefully you either get a Commission as a result of CPA marketing or affiliate marketing here. But the most important thing that I want to bring to your attention is the website right? You can build the landing page, but here we're going a couple of levels up. We were talking about building a website OK. So we have a website here and so how do you build the website? Well, the first thing that you need to do in order to have this website is you go to Bluehost, click my link in the description below. You sign off. It's only $4 a month. You get the free domain name. You get a free SSL certificates, one click WordPress install. I honestly don't know of an easier way to actually set up a site. OK, so once you actually set up a site, you're going to have something that looks like this, and if I go into my dashboard my admin panel I have it. I have it here, right? And so I can click on poles and this is where we need to create the kind of content we need to do. And so once you figured out what kind of nice you want to do I am going to show you how you actually create the perfect blog posts. So it ranks in Google. So it's very nice. It's very readable, people stay, they redid, they consume the content and most importantly, they actually they actually do something that you want them to do. Maybe buy a product, maybe sign up for an affiliate offer or anything else. The most important thing is to get the user to do something right. It's yeah they can consume it, and it's great. We're providing value. But we want it to be rank highly on Google and we want the people to actually look at the content and consume it and to take some sort of an action. So the first thing you have to figure out is once you have the niche you basically create list of articles, lists of ideas and so for instance I have here how to monetize your YouTube channel right? If I go into Google. And I basically type something like this. How to monetize? How to monetize? Oblog your YouTube your YouTube videos. OK so here is one your YouTube videos your how to monetize your YouTube channel. OK so there you go. You see how there's so many results 2020 on iPhone and mobile without 1000 subscribers. So many great ideas. And so once we have a piece of content. So for instance I want to, I want to make a piece of content around this. So what I do is I basically go into my post and I'm going to show you from scratch. I already have an article here, but I'm going to create a new one and show you how to do it because I know many of you were asking me. OK, How do I do it? How do I do it? I'm basically a lot of you. Some of you have accused me of basically glossing over the details and not even telling you the details. Believe me, that's not my intention. I want to show you how it's done, and so we actually have a title here how to monetize your YouTube channel. OK, so the title is very important and we want to make sure that the title corresponds to the search. Right, so Google is suggesting this. We put space and we have more, but we don't have to worry about all of these other ones right? This is kind of the main name and so once we have that here, we put it on here and then we have how to monetize your YouTube channel and we could add content now before I continue I want to tell you right off the bat that there are several types of content right? So here I am on a different site and just to kind of give you ideas right. We have content. We have lists, best cash back, apps, anything with best top then. These are all lists OK. Ways to save money. This is obviously a list. How much did you say so? Anything? This is a different kind of content. How much should you save is more of an informational type of content. Five steps to start saving, 1% saving strategy. These are all information on these three. This is another list. Here is 2 pieces of informational. This is another list and the same thing. The same pattern basically continues all over in different categories and so you have to understand when you're creating content. Do you want to create a list? Do you want to create an informational piece of content? Do you want to create a review article? Do you want to create something else? You need to have a strategy, right? You need to have a strategy. In our example, we are doing an informational piece of content. How to monetize your YouTube channel. This is not a list. This is purely information and another thing that I can tell you is that Google absolutely loves these kinds of content. Google is not a big fan of opinions, right why you should do this? Why should that Google is not a huge fan of opinion articles. But it's a big fan of purely science based informational facts based such as this one. So anytime you have something starting with how to or when two or one of these things, why you should, this is purely. Google loves this kind of content so I'm going to show you how to create it. The first thing that we need to do is we need to break this content into different parts right? You cannot just keep writing and keep writing. And how do we do that? Well, you first option is to ask yourself, OK? What do I want to talk about? Uh, we have the intro here, right? We have an inch or so in the intro. I might say something like monetizing your YouTube channel, your YouTube channel, this article. In this article, I'm going to tell you I'm going to give you the blueprint to monetizing any YouTube channel. OK, and so there is. There is an angle here were basically telling them that monetizing your YouTube channel is equal to basically having financial freedom. Unfortunately, it's not as straightforward as they say, so it's not that simple, right? We need certain requirements, etc etc. But there's also other ways, right? There's other things we can monetize it with Adsense we can monitor. Many things that we can talk about and so you have the Inter. Obviously we're not going to have this. This is the intro paragraph and then we're going to have certain other things. Now. The most important thing that you want to think about is, first of all, this article should be at least 1500 words. You can make it shorter, but I do not recommend all my content that I do for all my sites is at least 2000 words. OK, so I recommend at least 1500 eighteen 100 words as the base minimum OK. And so when you're creating this content you have a word count here. So currently is 34 words. I'm shooting for at least 1500 words, so I'm not going to write it here during this video, but I will show you how to draft it correctly so the next thing that you want you want to figure out what kind of things were going to talk about, right? This is going to go into different paragraphs and we want to we want to see what they are going to talk about. So I personally like to basically sit down and drive some idea. So the first thing is we can basically optimum monetize it using Google's Adsense Adsense. That's one way and for that you need a requirement. Requirement is 4000 Watt hours and 1000 subscribers. Subscribers OK, so this is just, you know, just the heading right? I can basically do something like this if I want, but I typically just write a sentence so this is a point that I need to make sure to include in the article, right? This is very important. There are other ways of monetizing it, and other ways of monetizing other ways to monetize is using affiliate marketing. Is using affiliate marketing OK? That's another one then. I can basically in this section I can talk about. I can discuss this cause different affiliate marketing networks. And whenever I put something in kind of these square brackets, that's a hint from me that it's a hint for me that basically I need to elaborate on this phrase, right? Other ways to monetize is using is via via affiliate marketing. Discuss different affiliate marketing networks, and before that we might even talk about so like discuss, talk about, talk about the definition of affiliate marketing. So writing is a big skill. I never, you know, in college I did not major in the English language. I did not measure in writing, but I realized like in my business, writing is super important, especially like when you're building sites when you are having a correspondence with a business partner or somebody else. Writing is very important, so even if you're not good at writing, you will get better overtime. You just have to kind of put in the work, and so we have this introduction, which is pretty much done. We have another one. This is Google's Adsense. There are other ways, right? So I can put something there other ways because this is already complaining this thing. Other ways to monetize via affiliate marketing? There are other ways to monetize, right? Something like this? Affiliate marketing discuss different affiliate marketing. Talk about the definition of affiliate marketing case. People do not know and then you can say how would I. How discuss, discuss ways to monetize this channel? With affiliate marketing right? Because how do you monetize the role you put the affiliate links in the description, right? That's one way. You can build the list. Build a list. And then market to that listen then market to that list. So I have various ideas now. This is not all right. We can get more ideas and what you want to do is you want to basically Google that phrase and you want to see this. People also ask right? You see this is like awarded in a specific way and that is because people are asking these questions. And So what you want to do is right. If I click on it, it's going to give me more and So what I want to do is I want to basically take these ideas. I want to incorporate this content into my article, OK? Now, obviously if I I can keep going and it's going to generate more and more questions. I don't need to incorporate something like this. Who is the richest youtuber? Is it easy to make money on YouTube? Because this is not very related. It's very distantly related, but this it's a very good practice to incorporate this because people are asking this and Google knows that if somebody is typing this search query, people are also asking these are related. Another thing that you can do is you can go down on the list and take an idea. So what I would do is I would basically. Copy this, I would just go like this. Copy all of this. I would create basically a document here. So I would basically create a text pad. I have a text edit here. I would create a new document and I would paste all of this and now I have a list, right? So I'm going to fix it up a little bit actually. Right, so now I have a list of ideas. OK, now obviously not all of them are going to be incorporated, right? But I will be talking about the requirements to monetize. Actually, I already talked about it, right? The requirement is so we already covering it, but we can reward it right? We can reward it so we can basically have a question and answer as part of this article and Google is going to see that we are answering those questions and that's why it's going to rank as higher, right? This is very important, so this is very important. People also ask. The other thing that you should take a look at is you should take a look at top articles that are ranked for this search queries. So for instance, this is google.com. We're going to ignore that this is youtube.com. There is very cute, very cute. Isn't the space of their building tools for you to basically right? They have a very popular Chrome plugin and maybe some other apps that you can use in order to see stats on your channel. And So what I want to do is I want to open this article and I want to take a look what they're talking about right? Because these guys have done their research. And so there saying number one #2 following YouTube rules, Copyright and monetization. So you have to understand if this article is ranked number one, they're obviously know they know what they're doing. It's not an accident and they you know like before. Like, five years ago, I would just sit down, write it like a like a nice article, but that didn't work because it didn't answer what Google wanted. So you have to keep SCO in mind as well. That's kind of what I'm talking about here. That is why I'm explaining to you all this very important things. And So what is how to monetize your YouTube channel, right? And this is a very good article and what you want to do is you want to kind of skim over it. And what I'd like to do is, I like to look at these bullet points so whenever you have a bullet point like this, the way you do it in WordPress is you basically type it here. So for instance I have this thing here. I can basically go into paragraph and I want to do it heading to an sometimes. Yeah, this would be heading to because the title is going to be automatically heading one, right? So you want to create headings, right? You want to create headings because Google is going to. Is going to parse this article and it's going to take into account why you're making certain things. Heading 1 heading to heading three, and so you want to pay attention now I do not recommend copying and pasting directly, you just want to paraphrase it, put it into your own words or what you want to do is you want to take into account the settings, so maybe you want to create another kind of document and copy all of these, but these are going to give you a blueprint for creating the article. Another thing you want to pay attention to is if I go to the front page. And I maybe pull up a couple of articles, right? I want to see how many words they have just to get an idea. Because yeah, I say at least 1500 words. But if all the competition on Google is 3004 thousand words, then you know it kind of makes sense that Google is picking those articles with 3000 and 4000 words. And there's a reason they're doing that, right? So that is very important to understand and what you want to do is you want to go back to Google and you want to Google for this tool. It's a very helpful tool. It's called word counter. URL right by your own. Basically go here a few URL. Yes, I think it's this one search. Blue must take a look. And you can basically provide the URL and it's going to count the words, so we're going to go and take this article. Here we gonna copy this URL. We're going to paste it here. And we're going to perform a check. And that's going to create a word count. So as it happens to be, and this is actually a nice tool. I have not seen this tool before because you can enter multiple URLs right? And this you know the only URL we have is actually 2173 words. There is a correct word. Calendar is an anchor tags anchor percentage. This is very, very helpful, extremely extremely helpful. So it's 2000 words, right? So what did I tell you before 1500? Two 1000 words that looks like they're following this advice or their following kind of the standard advice, right? So you can take it. Look at the difference. This is the total number of words including anchor tags, and this is the correct word count and it is word count minus anchor text. Right anchors are basically words that are linked to something else, right? So an example of an anchor would be something like this. This is an anchor right? So there not counting this, so it's up to you if you want to count it, but it's 2002 thousand, right? So what I would do is I would basically go on the first page and I would take a bunch of random links. So for instance, let's take this one. How to monetize your YouTube channel was written all the way in 2014. And it still ranking on the first space, so we're going to take this. I'm going to put it here, so remember that one is 2000. We're going to put it here and we're going to perform a check. And it's only 800 native towards so I have no idea how they made it. But honestly I would make it longer. I would not make it below 1000 right? So this is only 182 and if we Scroll down, yeah this is a very very short 2014. Yeah I wouldn't even do this so it looks like if you create a content of at least 2000 words you have a very good chance of ranking on Google. A lot better. OK? And that is kind of what you want to do is. So what do we have? We have questions and answers we have. They are bullet points, right? So we're going to take all these bullet points. We're going to create another list. We also want to see related related searches, right? So if we go back to Google, we click back, we go back here. And we go back and we want to see what else is going on. So if I click on this right there, basically telling us something. So You Tube monetization requirements, right? So people who are looking to monetize their YouTube channel, this is the next most related search query, right? This is very important, right? So you want to ignore these ones YouTube partner program? YouTube monetization rules, adsense, YouTube monetization rates do not worry about that. I will talk about the YouTube partner program and I will talk about You Tube monetization requirements. OK, so I would go and basically. Talk about this YouTube partner getting being accepted into the YouTube partner program. This would be. This would be a big one so I would select this and make it heading to and then I will talk about it. You too I will. I will talk about what is the YouTube partner program? How do you become accepted into it being accepted? Getting accepted, getting accepted into the YouTube partner program? And so I would basically talk about the YouTube partner program is in agreement. Is an agreement between you, the creator. And YouTube and YouTube right where you get into a certain agreement where you you promise not to manage to monetize certain stuff. That's against the rules and things like that. And as a result they allow you to monetize their videos right? Once you become once you get 4000 watch hours, an 1000 subscribers, they basically it goes into a review process and then they tell you you've been accepted. Now you have to accept the agreement if you want to go further. And this is all of this. You have to talk about, right? So not only we have those bullet points on the blog article, we have these ones. So what I like to do is I want to copy and paste this at the bottom right so I'm going to copy and paste this and these things. I want to answer them right so I'm not going to answer. Who is the richest youtuber? Because that's kind of it's very distantly related. It's not even related for this article because they're not who is the richest youtuber that could be a separate articles, right? The richest youtubers in 2020, something like that. That would be another article, and so that is the way you do it, right? Remember, you also want to sprinkle it with some images, right? Another most important thing when it comes to writing content is you want to make sure the people that are reading your content this stick around right? You do not want to create content where they read and that's going to happen if your continents too short and they come back to Google when they click on the article. So for instance if I do something like this, you know if I click on the article and then right away I click back and I click back that gives a signal to Google that I didn't find what I was looking for and if I do this I basically get different search phrases. So Google is basically telling me. Hey, you did not find what you were looking for in this article. Maybe you can try different search phrases that are related people. Also search for and so this is also kind of distantly related, but as the case is none of these search queries are kind of related to what we want because this is ads on YouTube. This is like the next step so I really would not be looking for it. And besides this is Google it themselves. So you can bet it's going to be very well ranked, not because their Google, but because it's good content. But let's say I go to this guy. That I just want to and I'm like wait a second. This is BS. It doesn't answer what I want. I click back and Google can sell that by me doing it. It means that I don't really like the content Google takes into that account. So when you're creating your content, you want to sprinkle it with images you want to sprinkle it. Another thing you could do is sprinkler with a video, embed a YouTube video and that means if you do that, you will. Essentially, people are going to stick around longer, and that's going to be much better. That's called dwell time. And so if you Google for something like dwell time, you will see that it's an important metric and that Google takes into account when ranking your content. Now this is not only for SCO, is just good practice when you're creating content, even if you're going to be sending page traffic like I have here, I have paid traffic, right? We have Google ads and in this case were sending, we're going to have Google organic here, right? Google organic. As CEO, something like this. But even if you were sending Google as or Facebook or anything like that, it's just good practice to do that, because even if you're buying Facebook ads, they want to see quality stuff right? So if you buy Facebook ads and your ascending into this to the high quality content, there is a better chance for them to approve it, so it doesn't really matter which you're doing. If you want to create a site in either landing page, no direct linking, right? We don't really talk about direct linking too much because it's very, very risky. You want to create a site you want to promote affiliate products. Using a website, you need to know how to do it correctly and this is really good practice. So remember at least 2000 words at least 1500 words, but 2000 is even better. Search for this phrase. Take a look at the content that that's out there, right? Take a look at the related phrases. Take a look at people. Also ask create a list of people also asked the related phrases. Basically the very cue that the main the main search results and take a look at the headings right. So we basically want under IQ. And we basically created a list of their main headings. They have 5, six. They have six headings and you want to basically put them in the list and see if you can kind of create pieces of content. Incorporate these ideas into your main content and before you know it, you're going to have at least 2000 words. In fact, when I write stuff, it's not really about what Google wants, is just it's going to be low quality. Google calls it thin content if it's like under 1000 words or something like something like this. What was that other article right this one? It's yeah this one holdme.com right. the Google considered this something like this thing content. I mean this is this is almost nothing right? How ads are displayed in oh 800 word 600 words do not do that right. Do not do that. Make it bigger, make it longer and you were going to easily outrank this kind of content, because this is old and it's very short and so it's going to be fairly easily fairly easy to outrank this content. Maybe not right away, but you know, maybe in six months longer, longer the longer you have it up, the higher chance you're going to have to our rank. And that's kind of the way you do it.
