Today, we're going to talk about traffic more specifically how to get traffic fast, OK, and so regardless of what you're doing, whether it's affiliate marketing, CPA, marketing, or anything else, traffic is really the key. Traffic is like is like the blood in the arteries, right? Traffic really makes things happen because traffic is people, and if you don't have any people coming to your site, especially when we're talking about free traffic. Then nothing really matters, and so in this video I want to show you how to get free traffic very, very fast, OK, and as you can see I have here analytics. OK, this is my own analytics from one of my sight and as you can see it towards the end there's a. There's a slight increase right? And this increase is pretty stable. OK, and really if you look at this graph you're seeing a gradual increase. I mean you're seeing some plateaus using some kind of, you know, just jumps in traffic, some bumps here and there. And then you were seeing some increases and then some stable plateau was after that. And So what I want to talk about in this video is how you can implement the same tactics as well BIH cause this is not very complicated, anybody can do it, and it's going to help you get free traffic to your site. And so if you have more traffic you're going to be able to make more money because you're going to be converting more and more people as time goes on. All right, so there's a couple of things you have to understand, but before we do that. I want to show you some of my other rankings so I have a lot of size. This is different projects. They're kind of grouped in different categories and so I'm basically looking at rankings right? So here's the latest. Here is best an really I'm, you know, there's a lot of projects here happening and so we can go back and we can look at all the projects and so we can choose another project and we can basically see where we are right? So I'm in the first position for this one. This is a very very specific keyword and this is something called the long tail keyword, which is something we're going to get to later on. And so you have really two types of keywords. When we think about it. This is very important to understand. You have short tail keywords and long tail keywords. And so here's a quick explanation and I'm going to go deeper into this. I'm going to tell you some tips and tricks later on, but for now what you have to understand is that you have short tail and you have a long tail, so short tail are typically very very general keywords. OK, and the other thing you have to understand about them is that there is not a lot of combinations of this keyword. So for instance when we're talking about losing weight. These are examples of short tail keywords. OK, so lose weight how to lose weight? How to lose weight is a short tail keyword because there's a lot of volume for this keyword and it's very general. OK, it doesn't really tell me anything OK, and here we are. We have examples of long tail keywords, so how to lose weight fast? How to lose weight in 10 days? How to lose weight in two weeks? How to lose weight in a month? How to lose weight in one day? And I'm also going to show you a free method that you can go out and basically pick up more and more of these long tail keywords. For your specific niche, and it's very important to understand that every single niche has its own short tail keywords and long tail keywords, and so we're going to get to that in a second. This kind of this is the foundation of SCO, right? If you understand this, you pretty much understand, like 90% of SCO, and so here we have an important chart, and this is really like the quintessential. This is a chart you have to understand because we have search volume on the Y axis and we have the conversion rate on the X axis. And so the more volume have the more volume a keyword has, the less conversion rate because it's a very general keyword. So for instance, how to lose weight is, you know there's a lot of people searching for it, but it's not very specific. So if I want to lose weight, I'm not going to be. I'm not probably not going to buy anything if I type how to lose weight, but if I type something like how to lose weight by my birthday in two weeks and there is content that specifically suited. For my problem, I'm much more likely to buy. I am much more likely to convert and so this is something you have to understand is that these keywords give you a lot of volume. They give you a lot of traffic, but there are not very commercial right, you know and of course you know some people are definitely going to convert your going to see convergence here, but for the most part you know a lot more people are going to convert here, even though that the volume is a lot less here. So the way you have to think about it, this is the foundation of every successful. Free traffic strategy. OK, so if you're getting organic traffic from Google, this is the foundation. This is something that I do with all my sites OK, and so this is the This is the weight-loss niche and I give you some examples. And so if you go into Google, OK, we go into Google right here and I can basically type how to lose weight. And this is a short tail keyword. OK, and so one of the results is from NHS which is in Britain. And if you Scroll down you're going to see some results. But the thing about this is that the first thing is that. If you're writing content where you're targeting for, this is going to be very, very hard to rank because they're extremely competitive. OK, so the shorter the phrase, the greater the volume, the more competitive it is, and that's something you have to understand an so when you're starting out what you want to do is you want to do both, right? You want to write content for both situations, right? You want to write content. How to lose weight even though you're not going to rank very highly. But all you're doing is you're basically telling Google that your site is about losing weight, so. It provides value because Google understands OK. This site is about losing weight even though you don't have the authority and the right age and the right back wings to rank. But that's OK, right? Even though you're not going to rank, Google still knows what you are going to rank when you're starting out, when your brand new, you're going to rank for a lot of these long tail phrases and only have to do with Google. Basically is click and you see lots of these long tails. So for instance how to lose weight in a month? That's a more of a long tail keyword. OK becausr, it's longer and it's more specific and the other the other very important thing is that not only is it longer, the phrases longer, it's also more specific. But there are also a lot more combinations of this keyword, right? So how to lose weight in a month? It could be like this, you could be in a month, it could be in one month, it could be in a couple of other combinations in just one month, right? Something like this. All of these what Google is going to do, is it going to collect all of these keywords into one main longtail keyword? OK, they're all part of this long tail keyword and that is why even though you're targeting these long cell keywords and let's say one of these long cell keywords might have let's say 50 searches a month. But you may have like 20 of these right? So you are basically targeting just by writing content that targets one of them. You're automatically targeting 20 of them. And so this is very, very important to understand, and even a lot of professionals don't realize this. You're not so if this search phrase gets, you know, let's say 50 searches per month. If you target this one, you're automatically targeting, let's say, 20 other ones, right? So if each one gets 50 searches per month multiplied by 20, you get 1000, right? So you get 1000 searches per month by targeting this, right? So you get a lot and you don't even realize it. You may even like in some instances. You might even get more traffic combined. Then if you are just targeting a short tail phrase so this is very important to understand, and so the first thing you have to do when you're building the side, and this is exactly what I did. This is exactly what I did in order to get this traffic bomb and to grow my size, and this is something that I do with all my sites right? And this is something you have to understand regardless of what your end goal is. Maybe want to sell a course, maybe you want to promote CPA offers? Maybe want to promote affiliate ClickBank offer? It doesn't really matter what your goal is. You have to understand this and so. When you're starting a site, you want to do both short Elan long self. You're not going to rank on Shoretel because they're going to be extremely competitive and you know like like size like wait for instance, you have sites like NHS that's ranking right. If we do how to lose weight you have NHS write, an HS is a golf site, right? It's UK, it's an official site. It's a very authoritate if site is going to be very hard to rank it, but if you do something like hard to lose weight without. Exercise and diet at home right now. This is extremely then you have a much higher chance of ranking for something like this and so this is very, very crucial to understand and you have to really understand it. So when you're building a site we need a strategy, right? You need lawn cell. And you need you need Shoretel excuse me any long term so this is something you have to understand now. It's very easy to come up with a list right? Because no matter what we're doing, let's say we are. You know how to run faster, right? I can do how to run faster so run faster. Might be a short tail, right? Or like how to run faster might be a short tail, but it's very general, right? How to run? Because I'm getting a lot of these other ones. So for instance if I do a search. And I go back to Google. It says how to run faster 5K, how to run faster for kids, how to run faster and 30 days right? It's a lot better to target these long tail keywords because there are going to be a lot more. Conversion rate is going to be higher and you're going to be able to rank better. So for instance, how to run faster 5K right? Because if you think about it, you know people they run different distances, right? There are all kinds of different runners and so run faster. Is very general and let's say I have a course or I have a, you know an affiliate offer or something like that. You know it's not as good if I'm targeting somebody who wants to run faster their first 5K or their first 10K or their first marathon, right? You know people are going to convert. Obviously if they're basically if you are solving their problem and their problem is very specific, nobody has a problem how to run faster right there, right there, training something, a 5K10K. Uhm, you know whatever half a marathon. Something like that. So how to run faster marathon? OK, as you get older right, there is another one. So if I do this with how to run a faster half marathon with less training, right? So you guys get the picture. It's very very important and so for any kind of niche you have to learn how to come up with a list of short tail keywords and long tail keywords and so for instance running faster. This is a short tail keyword because there's only so many combinations of this keyword. But if I say like how to run faster marathon OK marathon then you have marathon training marathon. As you get older right? and I do this and I Scroll down how to run faster at 50 years old right? These are all short tail keywords, right? Long tail keywords excuse me and so that is what you want to be focusing on. And so when you are building the site you need to create content that focuses on basically short tail keywords. You need to have it but you also need to go out and basically create content. For all of these search suggestions. OK, this is kind of what I did and not even realize it right? So in my case I basically had this. I had a lot of short sell content and I was ranking very very well because this was a very aged domain right that the main has been around for like 5 years or something like that. So I was ranking for a lot of these competitive terms, but I wasn't. I wasn't. Basically I wasn't doing it to the full potential because I didn't have content targeting a lot of these long tail terms. So what I did is I basically created content for a lot of these long tail terms and then this is very very important and what I did is on each of these content right? So for instance I had an article how to lose weight in 10 days. I basically talked about OK how to lose weight in 10 days? Just as an example, I'm not in the health niche but just as an example right? Let's say we have an article how to lose weight in 10 days? I created that piece of content and then anytime I had a reference about losing weight I basically linked it back. To the main article right in SCO, it's called creating a silo, right? And this is kind of the terminology. There's different ways of doing it, but the end result is you're basically linking back to this content and you are basically telling Google that this content is related to this content. So even though you might not rank for this short sale term, Google Caesar relationship, right? Google is all about relationships. OK, you can create the best article in the world, but if you're not linking to any other pieces of content. You're not telling Google what the relationship is, and So what I have basically did as I created a lot of these long tail content and I linked it back to their corresponding short tail content, and if I didn't have the short tail content, I basically created short tail content and in a couple of weeks I think it was like 2 weeks. I basically saw the result that you're seeing right now and this is kind of what kept it up. Is that Google realized hey wait a second. He may not be ranking high, but. We're going to rank his other articles right, and so you have this kind of a dual relationship, right? You have the short tail content that's gaining strength is gaining ranks. It's gaining all that and then you have the long tail content that's also being ranked and then sending that link juice to the long cell content and vice versa. So this is very, very important to do. And so like we can go to any niche that you want, right? So for instance, how to pick a microphone right? So microphone, right? Anything, anything? This is just by nature. Any kind of niche will have lots of long tail content, so let's say you have a site about microphones, right? So you can have different categories in that site, right? So for instance, you can have different categories because there's you know there's not just one kind of microphone, right? I could you know the microphones I have there are very specific for a certain purpose, but then there's other kinds of microphones, right? This is applicable to all niche. So for instance, how to pick a microphone, right? So how to choose a microphone, right? That's kind of the only combination, right? This is a fairly. Short tail or like something like a microphone, right? Even like a microphone, that's a very short tail term. So somebody who searches for microphone, obviously they're going to get Wikipedia and the other thing I want to point out is that when you put in a search in Google, take a look at the results, right? The results tell you what Google is thinking at the moment, so if you create a piece of content that's targeting an extremely extremely short sale term, meaning like something like microphone that has a lot of search volume. But it doesn't really mean anything, right? Like? So what's a microphone? do I want to know how microphone works? do I want to build my own microphone? They want to work for a company that makes microphones they want to buy a microphone, right? It doesn't really mean anything and Google just gives you Wikipedia and it also gives you Amazon, right? Maybe you want to buy microphones, right? There's an app called microphone and the Google play store, but that's about it, right? But if I do something like this, how to buy a microphone for recording for for recording, for instance? OK, now we're not going to get. We're not going to get Wikipedia anymore because Wikipedia is too general. Now we have better results, right? Google is basically looking and saying, OK, we have Wikipedia. We have Amazon, but we have beginners guide to buying microphones for your home right? Recordings? How to choose a microphone, right? And still I feel like you know Google is selling you this stuff, but I feel like if you create that piece of content, how to buy microphone for recording you might have a very good chance of ranking because Google is basically showing you more they're showing. A little bit more general on search terms than what you're searching for, and so this is like a pro tip, right? Anytime you're looking, you're searching for something. Make sure you go through the list and right away. I kind of see and opportunities because the 1st result is beginners guide to buy microphones for your home, right? I don't want a microphone for my home. I want a microphone for recording, right? It's a little bit different. I mean there is some overlap, but still it's a little bit different and so that is something you have to understand. Google is basically telling you for recording, for recording vocals. Best microphone for recording vocals. So what do you recording right? You might not be recording vocals, maybe you're recording something else, right? Maybe a musical instrument or something, right? You're not recording vocals baby. Best microphone for recording a voice over right so I can go in here. A voice over right best microphone for recording voice on computer right? So let's try this best USB desktop microphone for home recording. OK, best computer microphones. Still it's close. It's pretty close, right? But I think it's it's close enough. Best computer microphones, but we have best microphone for recording voice on computer, and so these are all long sale terms. And the more you have of these, the more traffic you're going to get and the higher and the faster you're going to build authority on your site. And more authority, more traffic for that niche that you're building, and so that is exactly what I did that exactly why I've seen that bump and that is something that I do all over my sites. And once you do that, when you're building a site, regardless of whether you're building a brand new site or you're going to, you're just fixing up an existing site. You're going to see a bump of traffic as well.
